ARTISTAS TRANSFORMAM “ACTIVISMO” EM OBRAS
A residência artística, denominada “16 dias de activismo”, que reuniu criadores de várias províncias do país, encerrou, ontem, em Luanda, convocando artistas de múltiplas linguagens para uma reflexão aprofundada sobre a eliminação da violência contra a mulher.
A iniciativa do ResiliArt Angola, por intermédio do projecto social da American Schools of Angola, surge no âmbito da campanha “16 dias de activismo”.Inspirado em debates realizados em várias províncias angolanas, no quadro do Dia Internacional para a Eliminação da Violência Contra a Mulher, o programa da residência artística procurou transformar as trocas de ideias em narrativas visuais e performativas, que contribuam para o fortalecimento de uma cultura de paz e de resolução de conflitos.A curadoria da iniciativa esteve a cargo de Hermenegildo Kindala e Dária Rosa, integrando participantes provenientes das províncias do Bengo, Benguela, Bié, Huambo, Uíge, Cuanza-Sul, Cuanza-Norte e Lunda-Norte, reforçando a diversidade cultural e a pluralidade de vozes que caracterizam o panorama artístico nacional. Cada artista abordou visões e vivências próprias, enriquecendo o diálogo criativo sobre o tema central.A residência desenvolveu-se em torno de múltiplas formas de expressão, como pintura, escrita, fotografia, vídeo e performance. O processo criativo colectivo afirma-se como um gesto de empoderamento, permitindo aos artistas construir discursos visuais que defendem o direito das mulheres a viverem seguras, íntegras e plenamente livres, tanto em espaços físicos quanto digitais.
