A estilista Juislene Mateus apelou, no domingo, em Luanda, para que os criadores nacionais invistam de forma mais ousada na criatividade artística das suas marcas, como via para elevar o nível conceptual da produção de moda em Angola e fortalecer a identidade do sector no mercado interno e internacional.
Com uma nova proposta estética intitulada “Raiz Urbana”, inserida na colecção Primavera–Verão 2026, a criadora reafirma o valor da criação angolana e assume-se como uma referência emergente na moda urbana artística nacional. Juislene Mateus, que é também directora criativa da marca Elisia304, explicou que o projecto resulta de uma reflexão profunda sobre identidade, modernidade e pertencimento cultural.Em declarações à imprensa, a estilista afirmou que a apresentação da colecção culminou com o mais recente desfile realizado em Luanda, momento que simbolizou não apenas o encerramento de um ciclo criativo, mas também o início de uma nova etapa na afirmação da marca no panorama da moda nacional.A colecção “Raiz Urbana” integra 30 combinações de vestuário, concebidas para diferentes ocasiões, reflectindo a versatilidade da mulher africana contemporânea. As peças procuram transmitir a ideia de que a mulher angolana é, simultaneamente, herdeira de uma forte matriz cultural e agente activa da modernidade urbana.Entre as principais propostas destacam-se túnicas minimalistas de base tradicional, blazers estruturados com ênfase na cintura, blusas de volumes acentuados, vestidos em tecidos africanos e modelos longos e fluidos, que combinam elegância, conforto e identidade cultural.No que respeita às inspirações, a estilista revelou que a colecção bebe da arquitectura de Luanda, dos contrastes entre linhas rectas e orgânicas, da intensidade da luz, bem como do aparente caos criativo da cidade. A força simbólica das mulheres angolanas surge igualmente como elemento central do processo criativo.Com esta proposta, Juislene Mateus reafirma o seu compromisso com uma moda que dialoga com a cultura, a cidade e o tempo presente, defendendo uma produção nacional mais consciente, autoral e artisticamente afirmada.
