OBRAS QUE RETRATAM A ANGOLANIDADE VENCEM PRÉMIO DAS ARTES ARTES VISUAIS E PLÁSTICA
A obra de pintura, com título ‘Reconexão’, do artista plástico Eduardo da Cruz João ‘Vueza’ e a escultura ‘Mulher Mwila’ de Fernando Dongo José, foram os grandes vencedores da segunda edição dos Prémios das artes visuais e plásticas Embaixada do Reino de Espanha e União Nacional dos Artistas Plásticos.
A gala de premiação aconteceu no auditório do Instituto Sapiens e foi prestigiada pelo ministro da Cultura Filipe Zau e Embaixador do Reino de Espanha em Angola, Manuel Lejarreta, além de diplomatas, empresários e artistas.A obra ‘Reconexão’, de Vueza, ganhou 2 milhões de kwanzas. Imagem de rosto de uma jovem mulher com olhos futuristas e uma coroa com diferentes figuras que representam poder ancestral, reflecte a ancestralidade africana e angolana particularmente, explicou o autor.O segundo lugar da categoria pintura foi arrebatada por Victor Samukuenge, com a obra Owiki, (mel em umbundu), ganhou 1 milhão de Kwanzas.Na categoria de escultura, em primeiro lugar, com 2 milhões de Kwanzas, ganhou Fernando Dongo José com ‘Mulher Mwila’. Retrata o povo Mwila, uma das etnias do sul de Angola. O autor diz que quis eternizar o valor da mulher africana e mulher tradicional. Em segundo lugar ficou Josmani Neto com a obra ‘O guardião’, é edificação de galo, feito com tralhas variadas. A obra é inspirada no despertar do amanhecer todos os dias laborais.O corpo de juri escrutinou 84 obras provenientes de 12 províncias. Foram seleccionados 20 trabalhos. As obras, não sua maioria retratos, foram avaliadas pela diversidade, maturidade estética e um compromisso com a identidade nacional, explicou o juri.
