A peça de teatro “Amantes do século XXI”, uma comédia que retrata os questionamentos que envolvem a estrutura tradicional dos relacionamentos, é o “cardápio” principal, amanhã e sábado, às 19h00, no espaço Goz’Aqui, na Ilha de Luanda.
A narrativa gira em torno de Etna, uma mulher de personalidade dominante, sempre atenta e perspicaz. A mesma não deixa passar nenhum deslize e recorre ao sarcasmo para expressar a sua frustração, conduzindo o público por situações que revelam tensões, inseguranças e ironias do amor contemporâneo.Com aproximadamente uma hora e dez minutos de duração, a peça, com direcção e encenação de Carlos Rodrigues, direcção artística de Manuela Pinheiro e texto original de Belmira Baltazar, nasceu do desejo de quebrar estereótipos e provocar reflexão sobre os novos modos de amar na era digital.Segundo a autora Belmira Baltazar, as relações actuais tornaram-se mais complexas e atravessadas por dinâmicas digitais em conversas no WhatsApp, bloqueios repentinos, relações abertas, limites difusos e escolhas emocionais que desafiam as regras tradicionais.Para Belmira Baltazar, o conceito de amante evoluiu de algo secreto e proibido para uma figura que, muitas vezes, participa de relações mais fluidas, conscientes e discutidas, porque, hoje, existem relações abertas, poliamor, amantes que se recusam a ser esposas principais e pessoas que escolhem vínculos livres de rótulos.
