O universo literário de língua portuguesa celebrou, no dia 8 de Outubro do ano passado, um momento marcante com a atribuição do Prémio Camões 2025 à poetisa angolana Ana Paula Tavares.
A distinção, considerada a mais elevada honra literária da lusofonia, reconhece o percurso criativo da autora natural da Huíla, cuja obra tem contribuído de forma decisiva para enriquecer a literatura contemporânea em língua portuguesa.
Na acta divulgada pelo júri, destacou-se que o prémio foi atribuído à escritora pela sua “fecunda e coerente trajectória de criação estética”, bem como pelo modo como a sua produção poética tem contribuído para resgatar e reafirmar a dignidade da poesia.
