Conhecida carinhosamente como Tia “Lolo”, a antiga rainha do União Mundo da Ilha assume hoje um papel fundamental na preservação da história e da identidade da agremiação, considerada a mais premiada do Carnaval de Luanda, com 14 títulos conquistados ao longo da sua trajectória.
Ao longo de mais de quatro décadas de dedicação ao grupo, Tia “Lolo” transformou a tradição oral num importante instrumento de salvaguarda cultural. Através das suas histórias e ensinamentos, transmite às novas gerações conhecimentos, valores e episódios marcantes que fazem parte da história do União Mundo da Ilha.
O seu trabalho tem sido determinante para manter viva a memória colectiva da agremiação, sobretudo num contexto em que as transformações sociais e o passar do tempo colocam desafios à preservação de certas tradições culturais.
Mais do que uma antiga figura emblemática do grupo carnavalesco, Tia “Lolo” tornou-se uma verdadeira referência cultural, assegurando que o legado do União Mundo da Ilha continue a inspirar jovens integrantes e a fortalecer a identidade do Carnaval de Luanda.
