CENTENÁRIO DE JÚLIO POMAR INSPIRA SEMANA DE ARTES
O centenário do artista plástico português Júlio Pomar vai ser assinalado com um ciclo de celebrações artísticas, promovido pelo Camões – Centro Cultural Português, em Luanda, reafirmando o papel da instituição como ponte de diálogo cultural entre Portugal e Angola.
O evento vai decorrer entre os dias 13 e 17 deste mês, apresentando uma programação diversificada, dedicada à educação artística, mediação cultural e à reflexão crítica em torno da obra de um dos mais relevantes nomes da arte portuguesa do século XX.
Este conjunto de iniciativas propõe não apenas celebrar o legado de Júlio Pomar, mas também estimular novas leituras e interpretações do seu percurso artístico. No dia 14 deste mês, pelas 17h30, vai decorrer a inauguração da exposição itinerante “Júlio Pomar, 100 anos”, acompanhada por uma visita orientada que vai permitir ao público uma compreensão mais profunda da obra do artista.
A exposição vai estar patente até ao dia 20 de Maio, oferecendo aos visitantes a oportunidade de acompanhar diferentes fases do percurso criativo de Júlio Pomar e fomentar o diálogo com público diverso.
“Só o Teatro é Real”
Outro destaque da programação é a sessão “Só o Teatro é Real”, agendada para o dia 16 deste mês, às 17h30. A iniciativa inclui a exibição de um documentário do realizador Tiago Pereira, seguido de uma conversa com Paula Pote Azeredo, Kathrin Sartinger e Adriano Mixinge. O encontro propõe uma reflexão a partir da criatividade presente tanto na obra plástica quanto na produção literária de Júlio Pomar.
A programação semanal integra ainda a oficina “Formar com Arte – Júlio Pomar e a Educação em Museus”, orientada por Paula Pote Azeredo, técnica superior do Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis, em Portugal. As inscrições para esta actividade já se encontram encerradas, o que evidencia o forte interesse e envolvimento dos profissionais e agentes culturais angolanos na área da Educação Artística e Mediação Cultural.
Este ciclo de celebrações promove, simultaneamente, o intercâmbio cultural entre Portugal e Angola, com especial enfoque na formação, criação artística e na construção de públicos mais conscientes e participativos.
