No início do novo milénio, precisamente no ano 2000, nasceu em Luanda a escritora Imaculada Eliane Tchitanga, também conhecida no meio literário como Ima Tchitanga. A jovem autora tem vindo a destacar-se pela abordagem sensível e crítica de temas sociais presentes na realidade angolana.
Na sua obra, sobressaem reflexões profundas sobre a seca que afecta o Sul de Angola, fenómeno que tem marcado a vida de muitas comunidades, especialmente nas regiões mais vulneráveis. A escritora utiliza a literatura como espaço de denúncia e de memória, dando voz às experiências e dificuldades enfrentadas pelas populações atingidas por este problema ambiental e social.
Outro eixo central da sua produção é a figura feminina. Nas narrativas de Ima Tchitanga, a mulher surge como protagonista de resistência, coragem e transformação, representando não apenas a luta quotidiana pela sobrevivência, mas também a afirmação da identidade e da dignidade no contexto da sociedade angolana.
