A sequência do desenho animado “Divertida Mente 2” conseguiu ultrapassar a impressionante marca de US$ 1.44 bilhão nas bilheterias mundiais, entrando para o TOP 2 das maiores animações do cinema.
O longo superou a arrecadação total de ‘Frozen: Uma Aventura Congelante‘ (US$1.28B) e ‘Super Mário Bros‘ (US$1.36B), e actualmente só se encontram atrás de ‘Frozen 2‘ (US$1.45B).Além disso, a produção da Pixar também superou ‘Vingadores: A Era de Ultron‘ (US$1.4B), entrando para o TOP 15 das maiores bilheterias da história do cinema. De acordo com o Deadline, o longo ainda deve ultrapassar a arrecadação total de ‘Barbie‘ amanhã (22), subindo para mais uma posição no ranking.
Nos EUA, o filme já arrecadou US$ 596.3 milhões, o que representa a segunda maior animação da história do país – atrás apenas de ‘Os Incríveis 2‘ (US$608.5M),internacionalmente, a longa soma US$ 846.9 milhões. O TOP 5 dos maiores mercados internacionais conta com México (US$98M), Brasil (US$72.8M), Reino Unido (US$60M), Coreia (US$56.1M) e França (US$50.6M).
